These session summaries cover my first campaign, which ran for 2 months(about 3 sessions)before the players decided I really needed to read the books and tone down my world. (Note to beginning Marshals:Read and learn from my mistakes so that you don't do this as well).

FIRST SESSION:
The place:Aden, CA
The date:March 3rd, 2094
The posse:Grimjack and Gunner.
Marshal's Note: This didn't go too badly since I ran the adventure out of the back of "Road Warriors" and skipped the road combat at the end.
 
Grimjack and Gunner arrived in Aden, driving Gunner's midsize pickup. They scrounged around, put some weird junk(cash register, pole for checking underground gasoline storage tanks, and some metal shelves) in the back, and then drove into the Town Hall to protect thier truck from being seen.
   Our heroes proceed to walk around town at this point, just checking it out before dark. When they return, Gunner spots a pair of kid feet sticking out of the previously-closed driver's door on his truck. Gunner is about to gat the kid when Marley(the sister) gets the drop on him. After a tense moment, the heroes agree to accompany the kids to meet thier Grandpa. They have a tasty dinner of laced stew and fall unconscious...
   Sometime later, they wake up in a cage that is in the bed of a pickup. They are thrown in with the other prisoners building the Temple of Atheron. They try to stage a mock fight, almost get shot for their trouble, and decide to wait until morning to come up with an escape plan.
   They are put to work on the temple(Gunner with a hammer and Grimjack holding boards for him). They decide on a plan, which consists of Gunner smacking a guard with a two by four(he threw the hammer to Grimjack, yelling"Cover Me!"-That was worth a white chip), grabbing his shotgun and diving behind the wall they were building.
   The first slug from the shotgun took care of Atheron's girlfriend and with one bullet left, Grimjack figured out Atheron's weakness. He capped the demon and since it was late, I ruled that the gang members ran in terror. The heroes hitched a ride with the Convoy guys back to the pickup and headed south...
 

SECOND SESSION:(where I completely forget about the shortcuts)
The place:Sierra Vista, AZ
The date:March 15, 2094
The posse:Grimjack, Gunner, Tom Blissken, Professor's Templar, and a whole gang of others I can't remember.
Marshal's Note: Never try to run a game for 14 people. You will never remember everything.
 
   Grimjack and Gunner, headed south, meet Tom Blissken(Jericho Syker), who is headed thier way. They arrive(run out of gas actually) in the small settlement of Sierra Vista. The first night there, the town is attacked by a horde of 20 walkin' dead(I screwed up here and the resulting fight took something like 6 hours to resolve cuz I gave each WD thier own card. Yep, I was smokin' crack). The heroes help out but a hole is blown in another wall(not the one the posse was fighting zombies at), the mayor's daughter is kidnapped, and the town guard is slaughtered.
   The guys talk to people in town, especially a blessed(priest) named Martin, who tells them all about this vampire he's been hunting. He found a relic that will allow the bad guy to walk around in daylight(ripped it off from John Carpenter's Vampires movie-never borrow this. It was a dumb idea). The mayor's daughter, Ella, is his fiancee, so he really wants to get her back.
   Ok, the next game session took place at our (now closed) local game shop on a slow day. Everyone in the store it seemed wanted to play and I was dumb enough to let them. Three hours later, everyone was in place and I sprang the bad guys on them. A combined force of 8 heavily armored rigs, 60 or so nosferatu, a road gang, and several dozen walkin' dead. End Result:1 PC death(he got in the way of a vampire moving at 64 Pace and then burned alive in a field that caught fire.) The guys hook up with four crazy Templars, Forrest, a heavy can cyborg(Crash), and a guy on a hoverbike. They head out at the request of the townspeople to see if they can establish trade with Bisbee, the next town over.
 

THIRD SESSION:(where I truly go overboard)
The place:Bisbee, AZ
The date:March 18, 2094
The posse: Four crazy templars, Hoverbike guy, Tom, Crash, Gunner, and Forrest.(Josh, the guy who played Grimjack wasn't present for this).
 
   Our heroes head out toward Bisbee and almost run over(never have an NPC lay in the road.)a prisoner from the town. It seems that there is a warlord in town, complete with two hovertanks and a 105mm howitzer. About this time, a squad of the warlord(Boss Jack Howell)'s men come out and try to arrest the posse. The heavy can goes ballistic with his minigun and that's that.
   The posse tries to sneak up to the walled fortress town, and then Crash's ROE kick in. He leaps up, screaming and shooting while charging at the wall. Two drop gates in the wall fall down and here come the tanks. Crash steps on a landmine(oh yeah, did I mention I put a Density 14 minefield around the place as well) about the same time he gets hit in the guts with a 105 round.
  The four crazy Templars charge forward, while the rest of the posse says "Screw this." and charge back to Forrest's pickup. The Templars get summarily riddled by guards with automatic weapons. The arm, chunk of torso, and head formerly known as Crash wind up tied to the back of the warlord's hovertank.
   As a result, the group told me that we were switching games to give me a chance to learn the rules or else.
