Episode 1:The S-Mart Overlord
The place: Sweetwater, TX
The date: May 2nd, 2094
The posse: Traveller and Derrick

Our heroes meet in the Texas desert and decide there's safety in numbers. They walk most of the first day and come to the little settlement of Sweetwater. There they find that the town is almost deserted except for old people. The Overlord's men have taken most of the adults to work on his fortress at the city of New Lubbock. The guys mull this problem over and decide to leave in the morning to deal with this guy.
The next morning, right after breakfast, a pickup and two dirtbikes pull into town. Over a bullhorn, they are told that all citizens will help to load the Overlord's weekly tribute at the grain warehouse. Traveller and Derrick tell the old people to wait and they'll go do it.
Once in the warehouse, all hell breaks loose, and a few MIRVs later, the posse has possession of a pickup. The guys head out toward New Lubbock.
They make good time and get there. They are met outside by a couple of guards who taser them. When they wake up, they are in a cell under the Fortress. A guard comes by and shackles Derrick, telling him he will get the "honor" of watching his friend fight. (Marshal's Note-Pay close attention to your posse. They are sneaky devils.) Traveller asks if they have a pair of really big brass knuckles (he's offered a choice of weapons). He's lead out to the Arena and uncuffed to face off against a couple of wormlings.
Before the fight can get underway, he challenges the Overlord. (MN-Josh had not read the Wasted West, so had no idea that was the Overlord's weakness). When the Overlord accepts, Traveller spends some Strain to "hulk out" (the reason for the big brass knucks). Derrick, even though manacled, casts a few hexes to help Traveller, and a few horrendous blows later, the combat is over with the Overlord's skull caved in. The Overlord's gang makes a mad dash for the exits, figuring they'll be killed by the green monster. In the chaos that ensues, Derrick "rusts" his manacles and gets free, Traveller returns to normal, and both heroes rush to the parade of vehicles that is leaving the Fortress at top speed. Traveller swings the Overlord's axe to stop a fleeing econobox and snarls at the gang members inside to "run or die".
Over the next few days, the heroes(with the help of the freed prisoners from the settlements the Overlord levelled) rebuild New Lubbock into an actual settlement. It's during this time, that the Templar known as Travis shows up as well as Tom.
The heroes rest for about a week and then all of them begin recieving these strange dreams from a spirit named Ralph. The visions show a bus, a young girl and the settlement of Near Dallas. Around the same time, there's trouble in New Lubbock. The heroes (namely Traveller and Derrick) want to establish an academy for training people to hunt down abominations. One of the prisoners, a captured Law Dog named Catherine "Cat" Smith, just wants to have an ordinary settlement.(MN-Josh, even though he's one of my buddies and a good friend, tends to be um..well..a dick, in and out of character). Tom gets tired of the squabbling and leaves to deal with the visions. Traveller, Travis, and Derrick decide to deal with whatever is causing the dreams first, but Traveller makes sure to tell Cat that he will be back to build his academy. After comparing notes with each other, a plan is made to head to Near Dallas in the Pinto o' Doom.(MN-The characters took this poor car and painted a big red crosshairs on the hood as well as other graffiti on the doors and across the hatch on the rear.) With Derrick at the wheel, Traveller beside him, and the rather-large Templar crammed in the back, the posse sets out eastward...

Episode 2: The Theater of Kaine
The place:Somewhere on the road outside the ruins of Abilene, TX
The date: May 15, 2094
The posse: Derrick, Traveller, Travis and Tom.

Our heroes run into a line of stalled cars that stretches for miles leading into the old Dallas-Ft.Worth metroplex. They are creeping through the wreckage in the Pinto and trying not to damage it, when several figures jump down, landing on and around the car. Traveller cleverly blows the windshield out trying to kill a few of the Plague Zombies(MN-He'd botched and shot Willy in the head, but Willy chipped out). Derrick fires bolts of black lightning as the Templar climbs out and unslings his claymore. The combat is going well for our heroes and then a second wave of zombies crawls out from under the vehicles. The situation looks grim, and then with a 30-yard fireball(MN-Arson), Tom makes his presence known. A few minutes later, the posse is cruising again, leaving a pile of crispy critters(and three exploded cars) in thier wake.
That evening, the heroes are atop an old highway overpass, thier noble chariot(heh heh) having run out of gas, arguing about how to cover the 20 miles left to Near Dallas. They have just about decided to walk, when Travis points down at the old Greyhound bus that has pulled up below them. The posse proceeds down to it and for $20 in trade each, they are given a lift to the settlement by the prettiest female they've seen in 13 years.
The "settlement" turns out to be an old IMAX theater. The guys are persuaded to watch a movie and when they come out from the old porn flick, all of them(except Derrick-see his stats for the reason) choose to go spend some time with Kaine's "escorts". Derrick wanders around and finds the wheelchair bound Kaine in a side room. Acting off a hunch, he casts "Achille's heel" and discovers that Kaine is a servitor. Before he can act though, the evil Kaine flips a switch and disappears through a secret wall panel. Derrick follows in pursuit and falls into a pit trap.
The other posse members are busily engaging in carnal acts(MN-Want to see how gullible your posse is? Throw cheesecake at them and see if they go for it)with the escorts. Derrick finally manages to make it out of the hole and up the stairs to the projector room where he smashes it. The other posse members realize what the hell they have been screwing with(literally) and begin killing plague zombies. (MN-Yes, I laughed my ass off at this point.)The sprinkler system begins spraying blood on them in the lobby and they spend a good amount of time killing the Head Usher, a Greater Minion named "Bob"(MN-Never give the jackalope's Sixth Sense to any other abomination:See Stupid Posse Tricks for explanation:Boot O' Doom).
Our posse, now infected, covered in blood, and royally pissed, decides to hunt Kaine down. Derrick tells them he went into a service area that leads into the Mall proper, so the heroes load up and head that way...

Episode 3:The Mall o' Pestilence
The place: Inside the mall that makes up the Near Dallas "settlement"
The date: May 16, 2094
The posse: Traveller, Derrick, Tom, and Travis.

But, before they can deal with the wheelchair-ridin' servitor, a sedan slams into the building outside and the posse rushes to see who crashed. They discover the eleven surviving members of a Black Hat platoon, stumbling around wounded. Travis snaps(he has an intolerance -3:The Combine because they killed his wife). They deal with the wounded Combiners in short order and then the Texas Razor, that orginally attacked the Black Hats shows up.
After a dumb moment where the Templar threw a scavenged yo-yo at the thing, Traveller MIRV's the razor wire abomination and it dies, melting into a pile of slag. Our intrepid band of heroes then head into the mall. They wander around for several hours, discovering and setting off several traps and decide to hole up in a men's restroom for the night. The next day, they finally find Kaine in the boiler room of the mall's maintinence area and after a short battle, they kill him. The heroes loot his room and find a young woman prisoner(Amanda). She is very nuts from being held prisoner by Kaine for almost a year and it takes all of the posse to control her. They loot Kaine's movie collection and in a fit of stupidity, Traveller finds the laptop Kaine used to communicate with Pestilence and starts typing smack. They also find reference to an old CDC bunker in Dallas and figure they might find a cure for the plague there(Travis made his roll, Derrick got the coup from Kaine, Tom used Purge on himself, leaving poor Traveller infected)
The guys then proceeded to search the floors they had passed and found an underground garage with two servicable vehicles: An old Wells-Fargo armored car and a Lamborghini Diablo in good condition. The posse clears the exit ramp and drives the cars outside. They then decide to load up their gear and head out. Travis gives Amanda his .38 and tells her to watch the truck while they go inside to get thier gear. When they come out, she begins screaming wildly and shooting at them. They wrestle the gun away and then a few moments later, (in a classic Travis moment), he gives her the gun back when a black car pulls into the lot. He actually had the audacity to act surprised when a round screamed past his ear. He got the gun away, and Amanda wound up hogtied in the back of the armored car.
The Firebird has Pika(Travis' lost squire), Pika's boyfriend(the Gunsmith) and Arthur Chase in it. After a few minutes of discussion, they agree to join the posse in heading into the Dallas Ghost Storm so that Traveller can fetch some atomic glass to make a Doom Sword and hopefully find the cure for his Plague itch(he he he).....

Episode Four:The Dallas Ghost Storm
The place: Outside the Dallas Malestrom
The date: May 18, 2094
The posse:Tom,  Travis, Traveller, Derrick, Chase, Pika, and the Gunsmith.

Before punching through the ghost wall, Traveller uses the miracle Tolerance to protect the party and in they go. Their way is almost immediately blocked by a toppled office building, so Tom turns and drives through a ruined wall. The armored car sinks dangerously into the basement of the destroyed building and is stuck. Derrick gets out and "sculpts" the tires free. They make their way towards Ground Zero. When they get there, the posse is attacked by a force of twenty-eight walking dead. Tom arsons, Traveller MIRV's, Derrick charges up black lightnin', Travis pulls his sword and goes to chopping and Chase and the Gunsmith pull thier guns and start shootin'. Less than 10 seconds later, its over. Traveller and Derrick head into the impact zone to recover the glass and R.E.M.'s "End of the World(I Feel Fine)" starts playing from busted speakers in the cars around them. At the end of the song, an extremely convincing nuclear explosion causes Travis to have a heart attack. But, Traveller gets his glass and carries it back to the armored car. The posse loads up and then Chase spots an undamaged truck down an alley and goes to check it out. The fire escape, actually a small Lurker,  jumps down off the building and Chase opens fire with his assault rifle. Traveller comes to his aid with the help of three "Nuke" miracles, and then as the damaged creature bears down on them, Chase finishes it off. The posse hastily gets back in their vehicles and heads out to find the bunker listed on the note they found in the mall. About four hours of searching and they enter a ruined parking garage, almost immediately getting attacked by a Scrawler. Traveller kills it (with an illegal use of the "Fission" miracle) and the party continues onward. They find an old pneumatic elevator shaft and another funny incident occurs. Traveller shines his flashlight on the bottom of the shaft and "Quantum Leaps", Derrick removes his gear and changes into a bird, and Chase looks at top and says" So do you levitate or fly like them?" Tom replies, deadpan "Nope. I use this" Tossing a coil of rope down. The posse makes it to the bottom of the shaft and weapons  in hand, enters an old airlock. Derrick uses Rust and Travis the Tank knocks the door down. They loot the old bunker, disturbing a few skeletal chimps which attach themselves to Travis, who immediately begins doing St. Vitus' Dance, trying to shake them off. They also kill about 6 walkin' dead(the former crew of the bunker) and find some drugs which are half of the cure. (MN-As Josh admits, they made a hobby of derailing my adventures, because I set it up where they would have to go to Boise for the other half of the cure and they never did, because Tom healed Traveller as soon as they got out of the Deadland). The group makes thier way back to thier vehicles and heads out toward New Lubbock.

Episode 5: The Free City of New Lubbock
The place: The Free City of New Lubbock
The date: May 22, 2094
The posse: Tom, Travis, Traveller, and Derrick.

The posse heads back to New Lubbock with Chase in tow. During thier absence, Cat has organized the town and when the heroes return, they are met by her at the front gate. Derrick "rusts" her Thompson SMG, and then Traveller starts an argument and winds up going to bed with her. The next day, the heroes are eating breakfast when a force from the Combine shows up in pursuit of a bald kid. The party lets the kid inside and then proceeds to kick the crap out of the Black Hats. The battle ends with Derrick casting an 298-point black lightnin' which blows down the town's walls on three sides. The heroes stay for the next 3 days helping the townspeople rebuild and Derrick decides to settle there so he can start on the Hunter Academy. The rest of the group loads up in the armored car, the Diablo and Chase's Firebird.

Episode 6: The Road to Junkyard
The place: Somewhere in the middle of New Mexico on SR 60
The date: May 27, 2094
The posse: Tom, Travis, Traveller, Gunner, Forrest, Chase and Shiann.

The party headed out without much fanfare and made good time to Texaco, NM(on the NM-TX state line) where Gunner's truck ran out of gas. Gunner(played by Willy, who was a diesel mechanic in real life) had the damn good idea of kickstarting the station's gas pumps using the generator off the Lamborghini's engine. The party refueled and about 20 miles later, ran into their first obstacle. Someone had placed a pair of wrecked tractor-trailer rigs to block the highway. The little convoy stopped and Travis got out to investigate.
As he approached the makeshift barricade, a grenade flew out to land near him. He frantically dived out of the way as it exploded. The rest of the posse piled out of the vehicles and commenced to attacking the ambushers(a squad of veteran walkin' dead). Once the fight was over, Traveller used meltdown to turn the trucks into slag. Gunner's dog was wounded by the grenade and Traveller was almost turned into a chew toy when he tried to heal it. (more on the devil-dog's insanity later..)
Around this time, Tom spotted an odd figure riding a broomstick towards them. The witch landed and introduced herself and except for a hasty explanation about human skulls, was welcomed to travel with the group to Junkyard. The group saddled back up and headed northwest.
They came to the ruins of an old truckstop and camped for the evening. The next morning, they awoke and scrounged for food with no idea that before the next sunrise they would deal with one of the horrors and mysteries of the Wasted West....

Episode 7: The Night Convoy
The place: Near the ruins of Casa Grande, NM
The date: May 29, 2094
The posse: Chase, Travis, Shiann, Gunner, Traveller and Tom

The posse made good time except for having to skirt a Deadland. Dark came and with it a lot of fog. An abnormal amount of fog. The convoy crept on the old interstate and finally called a halt when Gunner almost drove off the road. The party got out and looked around. Traveller heard it first. The sound of several diesel motors getting louder. The engine noise grew until it sounded as if the rigs were on top of them. But, none of the group could see headlights. The unseen diesels suddenly stopped nearby with a hiss of air brakes and then a horrible, gut-wrenching moan ripped into the night.
The posse, all except Travis, quickly climbed on top of the armored car and Tom switched the headlights to bright. They could see about twenty rat-faced scurrying figures headed towards them. Travis waited at the rear of the armored car, sword drawn and at the ready.
Suddenly, something sparked off his sword, causing him to drop it. Travis took this as a sign he should move and quickly crawled on top of the car, where the rest of the team was engaged in fighting several master vampires. The battle was quick and bloody, as Traveller used a nuke to stop the rampaging horde of nosferatu from getting too close and Tom finished them with an arson. Traveller MIRV'd one of the master vamps, Tom used his autoshotgun, Gunner riddled one with his pistols, Shiann tried to use her eldritch fire, and Chase used his auto rifle on one. Afterwards, the fog faded. Travis collected a pair of ancient swords and Shiann gathered some skulls. Then, the posse decided to sleep.

Episode Eight: Arguments and Arrival
The Place: Somewhere near the AZ state line
The Date: May 31, 2094
The Posse: Gunner, Chase, Shiann, Tom, Travis, and Traveller

The next day, a duststorm blows in and the party spends a good portion of the day hunkered down. Then, Gunner and Traveller get into it over the route(Because Gunner won't enter the state of Arizona. Said he'd rather drive into Colorado than enter the Vampire Kingdom. Sheesh. Some players. You throw a few fanged bloodsuckers at them and they freak out forever.) Anyway, the argument resolves when Gunner swipes a part off the Diablo, drives off into the desert and with Tom(who got paid a milrat) threatening to arson him, makes his departure from the group. Tom retrieves the part and the group continues to Junkyard, finally getting there in another two days of travel.

Episode Nine: Junkyard Jollies and a Spy Mission
The place: Junkyard
The Date: June 2, 2094
The Posse: Traveller, Chase, Tom, Travis, Shiann, and later, Lucky the Trucker

Once in the big city, the party scatters to check it out. Tom sells the Diablo and with Traveller and Travis, head out to find someone to modify the armored car. Chase goes to get his car converted into a monster truck and Shiann rents a hotel room to get a shower.
The 3 T's enter Crazy Bob's Junk Emporium. A short, old man wearing a multi-optic gadget on his head comes out and offers his services, after explaining the claw marks on the walls and the bloodstains on the floor. A loud beeping emanates from his workshop and the guys wisely decide to make thier exit. As they leave, the entire building disappears. They finally find a junker who converts the engine to G-rays, replaces the suspension with hoverskirts and fans, and (I'm so NOT kidding) at Traveller's insistence, paints the thing Jet black with 6' diameter red neon crosshairs on either side of it. (Tom was not happy. He asks " You sure we can't just put a big Fecking sign on it saying SHOOT ME?!". Anyway, Traveller goes back to the hotel and seduces Shiann. Tom and Travis join Chase in the Afterburner, where Travis proceeds to drink enough spook juice to kill a bull. He then gets in a fistfight with 16 or so Sky Pirates(Chase bets on the outcome). Tom kicks on Forcefield and with his martial arts, goes to town. Travis is beaten unconscious and has to be carried back to the hotel where he's dumped in the room while the other two go to find something to eat.
Shiann does something incredibly stupid while Traveller is sleeping. She sneaks to the team armored car and dumps a love potion in the communal water barrel. (Just one more reason for Tom to kill her, I guess.) Fortunately, the potion expired before anyone drank the water. So, around 4 the next morning, Travis' nemesis, a bloodwolf, shows up and guts him( he has Destiny, so it doesn't kill him, but it leaves a hell of a mess). The guys patch him up and have just about decided that Boise will be thier next stop when they are approached by Raptor and asked to come to a meeting. They meet a guy wearing (once again, I'm not joking, just wishing I was) a Lucky Charms suit and wearing a glove box on his head. This is Lucky the Truck driver, who is going to accompany them into Colorado on a spying mission.....

Episode Ten: Something's Rotten in Uravan
The place: Uravan, CO
The date: June 4, 2094
The Posse: Lucky , Travis, Traveller, Chase, Shiann, and Tom

The heroes are asked to scout out Uravan and confirm mining ops there so that the Sky Pirates can target an airstrike. They leave( after buying a ball gag), driving the vehicles off road. They leave the vehicles outside Paradox, CO. They head in on foot, dodging raptors, automatons, and drones. Traveller's EMP comes into it's own here and the group rapidly realizes that Bethany can't make a "sneak" roll to save her life(2 Legend chips spent). They photograph the site and with the Combine actively looking for them spend the night in a widened drainage ditch. The next morning, they bolt back to the vehicles and make much haste getting the Hell outta Colorado. When they get back to Junkyard, they are given $1000 each and Reknown with Junkyard. They decide to head to Boise, because Travis needs to check in...

Episode Eleven: Boise and the Black Church
The place: Boise, ID
The date: June 7, 2094
The posse: Casca, Travis, Tom, Chase, Traveller, Blindside, Shiann, and Gunner(momentarily)

Our heroes make it to Boise, meet Simon, and are asked to help with the Modeen problem. They take off and make it to Mountain Home, where they are attacked by the Death Bats. They manage to drive the critters off and then Traveller nukes the simple wooden church twice. He watches in horror as it regrows and vows to come back and kill the things in it. The party heads to Twin Falls and battles the warband, detonates the tanker truck, kills Gregory, and the witch did the one useful thing anyone can remember by talking to the head. Chase takes the dead Templar bodies from the Orchard and makes the trip to Boise in 3 hours(God, Gearhead knack is so close to broken its not funny). While he's gone, Gunner shows up and shoots a few people and then, Chase returns with Blindside(a Banshee syker) and Casca(the smart Templar). The group sneaks up to Modeen's gang( Bethany botched another one and spent her last legend chip here) and Blindside uses his namesake to distract them while the group merrily blows them away. Traveller and Travis attack Modeen, Traveller tossing MIRVs and Travis dancing the sword dance. They kill Modeen, rescue the townsfolk, and head back to Boise, where they are made Companions. (Bubba, the guy who plays Chase, took the AB: I'm Normal! edge and I remember him saying " Oh good. I get a patch to wear. One of these days, I'm going to actually get paid for doing this hero crap"). Simon then tells them about his vision and they go check out " Something About a Sword".....

Episode 12: Something About a Sword(aka Travis gets his)
The location: Rock Springs, WY
The date: June 11, 2094
The posse: Casca, Travis, Shiann, Blindside, Tom, Chase, and Traveller.

Our intrepid band of heroes is sent out by Simon to Jarret to check on Eliot Ritter. They manage to follow the clues, make it to the Last Chance Commune, talk to Burke (the only NPC to ever be a bigger prick than Traveller), absolutely slaughter the mutant army that attacks. They take Burke's key and head out for Rock Springs, where they are attacked by combots. They finally make it around to the Apfeltech Factory(actually they were led there by the nose, by Bob the Friendly Combot). They charge in the front doors and it's here that Travis pulls one of the dumbest stunts in his annoying career. The entire posse is behind a conveyor belt, lining up aimed shots at Mathais the Doombringer when Travis draws the Red Joker. He sprints at top speed towards the Bad Guy(tm). (Willy looked at me and said "You think Simon'd be pissed if I shot him(Travis) in the back??". I told him to wait...). On Aces, Travis is about 3 yards away from the Doombringer when two guard combots(the nasty ones from the last chapter) step out and turn him into a colander.  The posse actually applauded. Then they got about the business of ruining the Doombringer's day before he could nuke them. Traveller kills him with the Dallas Doomsword and they head upstairs. Then, the giant centipede makes its appearance.  Casca runs back downstairs to get the Doomsword. He returns and in 2 rounds(holding to the group par) kills the creature.
The guys(and gal) collect up the Dumb One( he wasn't dead{Damn Destiny}) and head back to Boise. (I misread this part in the book and here's what happened). Casca should have been the one to get Evanor but I had Simon put it in the Templar Sword Lottery. (James went nuts at this. "OH GOOD!! So in six weeks when Mr. Joe Schmuckatella, Greenie Templar, gets wacked and the Sword get stolen again, we can go find it. ARGH!!). The party kicks back in Boise to heal up...

Episode 13: The Boise Horror
The place: Boise, ID and then Junkyard, UT
The date: June 17, 2094
The players: Tom, Traveller, Griffin, Chase, Casca, Shiann, Blindside and Travis.
Our heroes are in Boise taking some R&R when they here about the murder over at the Petioner's Quarters. Traveller, Chase, and Tom go check it out while Travis goes to find a Templar in charge. They investigate, have a confrontation with Biletnikov about it, and then go back to sleep. The next morning, the entire group is summoned in front of Simon. He asks that they be his escorts to Boise for the summit with the Iron Alliance. (Marshal's Note: A huge argument ensued when I told the Guys that they had to leave the Hover-truck O' Doom here and ride on the airship). So, they hike to the landing zone and board the airship. Simon is sick and in bed when all hell breaks loose. There is a running gun battle between the posse and the Automatons that results in one good guy (Dennis the NPC Templar) saving everyone's a$$ by holding off the automatons so the group can slide down the guide ropes to safety.
The next day is spent hiking through the Utah Badlands and listening to Simon ramble on about his encounter with Baphomet. The group makes camp and the disguised infiltrator borg attacks. Traveller atomic blasts him into scrap and the group goes to sleep. They meet up with Griffin, who tells them he was sent to help them out by the Sky Pirates. The group continues marching on and by nightfall can make out the lights of the Iron Oasis in the distance. They confront the raiders/Black Hats and annihilate them.
The posse settles in at the hotel and waits for the summit to begin the next morning. During the night, they are awakened by the janitor's locked-room murder and have a tense discussion with Detective B. (MN-I can't remember the chick's name and Crash has my copy of TBH). After narrowly avoiding arrest, they go back to sleep.
The summit begins. Simon rants about road gangs, the Black Hats attack, Griffin derails the entire adventure by using "Pulse" to stop the automatons and drone cold. Simon is carried off.
The party charges into the underground and faces off against the Boise Horror. (MN-The Guys DESPISE Simon. As a matter of fact, James said, out-of-character: "Excuse me, Mr. Baphomet. If you could step aside, we just want to shoot that prick Simon and you can go on about your business.) Casca winds up going sword-to-sword with Baphomet and dies after decapitating the demon. Travis lays on hands and resurrects him in an odd fashion. With four wounds to all his locations, the posse carries him out of Down Under and to the hospital. The session wraps up about a week later in game time with Jo meeting them to name Casca as a hero and to explain why they have to lie to everyone. Tom is pissed about this and swears to Biletnikoff if they meet again, he'll kill him.
